FHC's Fw 190 Debut Saturday, June 18

Earlier this spring the Flying Heritage Collection finished restoration of the world’s only original flying condition German Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-5, now on display inside the collection’s hangar facility located at Paine Field in Everett, Wash.  After carefully rebuilding the aircraft, the Flying Heritage Collection will debut the workhorse German fighter plane this Saturday in a free-to-the-public Fly Day event.

This Fly Day will also feature the Collings Foundation’s WINGS OF FREEDOM tour. The Collings Foundation will perform aerial displays alongside the Fw 190 A-5 using their Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress.  The Flying Heritage Collection’s P-51 Mustang will also take flight as part of the Fly Day.  Before and after the aerial displays are finished, visitors will also be given the rare opportunity to explore the Collings Foundation aircraft inside and out for a small donation.
